  • What’s the big deal?

Some Asian woman filed a class action lawsuit against Miley Cyrus for this picture.

    Miley's Eyes

Lucie J. Kim filed the lawsuit at the LA County Superior Court over this photo, claiming that over one million Asian Pacific Islanders are entitled to four thousand dollars each, which is the minimum in damages for a civil rights violation…

    Really?

This type of photo isn’t anything new. Seriously, if you google “chink eyes” you can see thousands of them. Here’s one I found just now.

    People Who Aren't Famous

What’s the difference between this couple and Miley Cyrus? Well, Miley Cyrus is a celebrity, and probably has a lot of money. In fact, she definitely has a lot of money. You could argue that she’s in the public eye, so she needs to be a little bit more cautious over what photos of her make it to the net, but I don’t think that should really matter. Clearly, Lucie J. Kim is out to make a dollar, and figures the easiest way to do it is to pull the “civil injustice” card.

    Well, I call bullshit.

See, it’s this kind of nonsense that perpetuates division between races. I doubt that Miley Cyrus is a racist. (I mean, there’s an Asian dude sitting next to her in the picture.) They’re just kids, and no sixteen year old is trying to oppress anybody’s civil rights. Actually, I think Lucie J. Kim is the real racist in this situation. She’s trying to make this an “us vs. them” type of scenario, which is what I would define as racism.

The saddest thing about all of this is that she might actually win some money.

  • Economic Worldwide Collapse Near-Miss

Evidently, back in September, the entire World Economy could have collapsed in the blink of an eye because of an electronic “run on banks.”  Here is a video of Representitve Paul Kanjorski from Pennsylvania on CSPAN explaining how our our entire “economic and political system” was on the verge of complete collapse.
